Chocolate Brownie

Our simple and quick chocolate brownie recipe delivers deliciously fudgy brownies in just a few easy steps. With a handful of everyday ingredients—cocoa powder, sugar, eggs, butter, and flour—you can whip up a batch of rich, decadent brownies in under an hour. The batter comes together in minutes, and after a short bake in the oven, you’ll be rewarded with perfectly gooey, chocolatey treats that are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth with minimal fuss.

Ingredients:

  • 145g unsalted butter
  • 250g caster sugar
  • 80g cocoa powder
  • a pinch of salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 65g plain flour
  • a handful of your favourite nuts
  • (optional)
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 90g your favourite deliciously yours chocolate bar (chopped)

Here’s how to make this decadent brownie

  • Preheat your oven to 170°C fan forced. Grease an 8×8-inch tin and line with baking paper.
  • In a large saucepan add the butter, sugar, cocoa powder and salt and simmer over low heat until melted.
  • Remove from the heat and the add the eggs one at a time, then fold in the flour and vanilla extract until combined. Add your chopped chocolate and nuts and mix until combined.
  • Spoon the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 30 minutes. A toothpick inserted in the centre of the tin will come out clean when the brownie is done. Remove from the oven and allow the brownie to cool completely before cutting into 16 squares.
