We completely understand your concerns about purchasing chocolate online. One of the biggest worries is ensuring your chocolates arrive at your doorstep in pristine condition. Rest assured, our fulfilment strategy is designed to address these concerns, giving you peace of mind when ordering from us.
Here’s how we ensure your precious cargo arrives at your doorstep in perfect condition.
- Ice Packs – each order will contain at least 1 ice pack on warmer days. These ice packs keep the products cool for over 24 hours.
- Express Post Only – We upgrade your shipping to Express Post when shipping during the warmer months. We offer this as an add on at no extra cost to you.
- Thermal Lining -to prevent external heat our orders contain a thermal bubble wrap lining to keep heat out of the box and contain the coolness of the ice pack.
- Perfect packaging – Our packaging was designed the same way as a game of tetris! We ensure all items fit snugly and are surrounded by bubble wrap. This not only prevents heat, it also ensures the products do not move around during transit and shipping. We also use thick, shipping carton to prevent damage to your precious package and add labels/stickers to communicate to couriers the contents of the box.
- Extra Steps – During warmer months we implement strategies to ensure your chocolates are received in perfect condition. This includes:
- During times of extreme heat, we will hold off sending any orders until we feel it is safe to do so and will keep you updated.
- Dispatching orders between Monday – Wednesday only. This avoids your package sitting in the depot over the weekend.
- Each order will receive tracking notifications so you can see its journey and make sure you are home to collect it.
- Once your Chocolates arrive we cannot control how it is stored. So take care of it by storing it correctly (not in warm areas such as cars, near the window, or outside for a long period of time).
- If, after our absolute best efforts, you are not happy with how your order was received then please reach out to us (carol@deliciouslyyours.com.au), with as many photos as possible. We will do everything in our power to make sure you are happy (which could include resending your entire order at no extra cost).
