How to:
You will need a food processor for this recipe. Grab a packet of Tim Tams and 80g of cream cheese and blend in the food processor until it all comes together into a ball. This can take a few minutes.
Grab a handful (I measure 19-20g) and roll into a ball. If you use this size you should get 12-13 Tim Tam truffle pops.
Grab a lollipop stick (Wilton make them; you can grab them from cake decorating or party supply shops) and poke a hole in the centre of each ball. Refrigerate for around an hour. This helps the pops stay firm on the stick and not fall off.
Melt a block of your favourite chocolate. Dip the end of your lollipop stick into the chocolate and then into the balls. Try to keep the sticks as straight as possible. Refrigerate until the chocolate is set. This step also ensures your chocolate balls don’t fall off the stick when you complete the next and final stage!
Make sure your chocolate is still super smooth and then dip the balls into the chocolate and cover them. Allow them to set and you are on your way to Tim Tam heaven! You can decorate them to suit the theme of your party. Enjoy
